what I know about ANZAC
ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
There are dawn parades at ANZAC day to remember the brave soldiers who fought in the war.
The 25th April was the day when the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula in 1915.
On the 25th of april 1960, it was officially named Anzac day.
The wives of the soldiers would bake ANZAC cookies for their husbands during the war.
